“Virtual reality and Augmented reality are the next revolution in education. The problem is that both technologies are still expensive for mass adoption, that’s why we wanted to provide an affordable solution yet effective for our children.”
– Founder & CEO, Ahmed Hesham
“In the digital age, printed books are almost forgotten and neglected. But we’re embracing it and giving it a technology refresh with the AR app. The book was designed from the ground up to be an AR book.
– Co-Founder, Abdelrahman Khorshid
The book is divided into several sections, each one talks about a system in our human body. The systems are the skeletal system, the respiratory system, the nervous system, the digestive system, the circulatory system and urinary system.
AR Educational Book
The AR application includes a lot of features which make sure that your kids get the information in a simple and entertaining way. These features start from visualizing each human body organ, then interacting with this organ and taking screenshots with it, and ending up with 3D interactive games which assess your kid on the information that he received on each organ.

“We set our eyes on finding an affordable yet effective solution to kickstart this revolution and help to get this technology into as many students as we can. And at the same time, we didn’t want to completely ditch the old learning methods” Said Hisham HOSNI, co-founder, when asked about why to use books with AR. “We are books lovers, and reading is an essential part of our lives. Therefore, an Augmented Reality science book was an affordable solution and the sweet point between our origins. We made a lot of surveys about the appropriate topic that can take full advantage of the power of AR.

We found out that our own human anatomy is one of the hardest topics to be fully grasped by children using the conventional ways of teaching, and it’s a category of science that AR can shine in because visualizing our anatomy in 3D will be a huge leap forward.”

Pre-orders of “Imagina books: The Human Body” is available now on Kickstarter here.

The campaign has received a lot of positive reviews. When the Kickstarter campaign funding goal is achieved, shipping of both the book and the application is expected in March of 2018.

During the Kickstarter Campaign, the product can be pre-ordered starting at $21 for the Early Bird Packages. The application will support both IOS and Android. Imagina books is a product of Livitstudios, LLC, which is a software company established in 2015, specializing in the Educational Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality software development. They create VR/AR educational applications, driven by their admiration for new technology and their belief in the importance of education.
